I’ve been amazed at how good this Challenge has made me feel. Like so many others this is an extremely busy time of the year and sometimes I go into the work bunker and don’t come up for air. This challenge has helped me come out of my bunker – and I’m grateful for that.
I’ve found time to catch up with a loved one. I’ve found time to make teacher’s presents. I’ve found time to give to a giving tree. I’ve even found time to relax and have a pedicure. And do you know what – the world did not come to an end. The work still got done, but I actually feel more relaxed and more energised at the same time for having made this time.
This challenge is helping me remember the importance of prioritising, and making time for myself as well as my other commitments. I know I’m not alone in saying the “for me” to do list is always at the bottom of all other ‘to do’ lists. I hope I can now try and move this up the list.
So, while this post isn’t focusing on Christmas, I hope you too have found time “For Me” as well as the other 3 categories as you complete the challenge. Don’t forget to share what you’ve achieved either on our Facebook page or in the comments below.
